Research Stay
The CIL offers the opportunity for temporary research stays at its Centre to scholars whose projects require immediate access to the CIL’s archival documents or who work on the research history of the CIL. Upon advance request, we will provide you with a workspace in the Research Centre for the duration of your visit, prepare the resources you wish to examine, and offer you our assistance in working with the squeezes and records.
During your stay, you will have access to the CIL’s library as well as to the general library and the specific library for Greek and Roman antiquity of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. The BBAW library's OPAC is available for research preliminary to your visit. Please feel free to contact us for information on organisational matters. We welcome inquiries from interested parties.
We would genuinely appreciate if you presented your research project to the team of the CIL during you research stay.
